 Sulphur Springs Family

We are truly a family at the Sulphur Springs Home Building Facility. The team has come to rally around Renea Walker who works in our Utility Department. Renea was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer one month ago. In 3-4 short weeks after her diagnosis, hundreds of dollars have been donated and T- shirts and wristbands have been selling like hotcakes in support of Renea’s fight against cancer.
Renea has a fierce fighting spirit and her Clayton family is behind her 100%.

Rising Star in Sulphur Spring

Clayton Sulphur Springs is blessed to have someone with so much manufacturing knowledge in this role as MDM Coordinator. Roberto Reyna started his career with Clayton in 2000 as a Utility Team Member. The role of Utility is very important, because they have knowledge on all processes and are able to assist the shorthanded departments. Three years later he moved into the role of service technician, which allowed him the opportunity to complete his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science at Texas A&M University Commerce. After graduation, he came back into our facility in the familiar role as a Utility. He shortly was promoted to the Team Leader over ceiling build, and was in that role for six years. Roberto received yet another promotion, when he became the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager for the next four years. He held that role until he got the career changing opportunity to move into our sales department in June of last year. Roberto is using this opportunity to train for an MDM role within our company. With his extensive manufacturing background, tremendous work ethic and his prior success at every level, there is no doubt that Roberto will be successful in the role of MDM.
With all the success Roberto has enjoyed at Clayton Homes, his greatest accomplishment is his beautiful family. Beatriz is his wife of 9 years, and they have two beautiful children. Kamila is 6, and will be graduating from Kindergarten this month. Levi will be turning 3 years old later this summer. The success of any organization always revolves around good people.  With Roberto on our team, our chances for extreme success are undeniable.

Environmental, Health & Safety

On April 27th, our Team celebrated a 6-month anniversary of
NO OSHA RECORDABLES” with a steak lunch.
The Safety Committee served steak, baked potatoes, beans, and cobbler with all the fixings. Team Sulphur Springs is very proud of this achievement and is looking forward to reaching another 1-year mark without having an OSHA recordable.
